ABOUT US
Since childhood Poseidon Surf Shop & Surf School founders we were inspired by their mother DeAnne who grew up surfing in the late 50’s and 60’s at Malibu’s Iconic Surfrider Beach with legends such as Miki Dora, Mickey Munoz, Dewey Weber, and the other soon to be famous surfers. They lived and breathed a raw and unadulterated surf culture from their mother and family since their Grom days. The brothers grew older, explored life and found themselves always being pulled back to their Malibu surfing roots. In 2008 Poseidon Surf was formed to pursue their inner passions, making it an homage to their mother, a refuge for their lifestyle, and a reflection of their surfing dreams.
Poseidon strives to offer the absolute best surf and paddle lessons, equipment and locally designed/printed apparel. Poseidon’s custom surfboards and paddle boards are designed and manufactured here in California. Poseidon’s coffee bar features locally roasted Caffe Luxxe coffee.
Poseidon Surf’s retail flagship store has been located in Santa Monica, CA since 2011. The Poseidon team includes a diverse team of Surfers, Athletes, Musicians, Dreamers and Artists.
